Conor Lucky Gosain ("Vata")

Since joining the Mansion Studios team in 2023, Conor has helped countless artists from Brooklyn and beyond transform the music they imagine into records they're proud to share with the world.
Conor's musical journey began at just three years old, when he first picked up the guitar. By the age of fifteen, he was already playing on professional recording sessions, where he developed a fascination with the creative process behind the studio glass. Those early experiences sparked a passion for audio engineering that drives him to this day.
From recording local artists in his parents' basement to working alongside GRAMMY Award-winning musicians, Conor has dedicated himself to perfecting every aspect of music production. His experience spans artists at every stage of their careers, always with the same commitment to delivering recordings that meet (and exceed) the highest professional standards.
For Conor, a great song is always about having the best performance from the artists. Everything else is gravy. He believes that when artists feel comfortable, confident, and inspired, they create their best work. Every session, Conor is working to get the artist to a place where they can do their best work, which in turn allows him to deliver the highest quality songs possible.
In addition to his work as an engineer, Conor is an accomplished producer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist. His musicianship allows him to contribute creatively throughout the recording process, whether that's refining arrangements, developing ideas, or helping artists unlock performances they didn't know they had. His guitar playing has even earned recognition from Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page.
