    Seth Gonzales A.K.A Benji Socrate$

    Working with artists such as: NIA CURRY, JPREME, STACK SKRILLA , MACH-HOMMY, JAY NICE, THA GOD FAHIM, PETE ROSENBURG, WÜLF, T-13, STARKER

    Benji was born and raised in New York City.

     

    The roots of his production began through making beats off his iPhone and then finally upgrading to Reason 8 as his first DAW.

     

    He bounced around to Ableton and Logic and then eventually became ProTools savvy when he joined the team at Mansion Studios.

     

    His main inspirations are Sade, Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, Ohbliv, and Teezio

      Lyrical Young Lo

      Working with artists such as: DOECHII, ROWDY REBEL, ELCHERRY SCOM, JENN CARTER, TATA, KYLE RICH, MDOT59, FETTY P FRANKLIN, RAUDXGEEZ, FETTY LUCIANO, AYLEK$, OLA RUNT, PARIS BRYANT, BOBBY NICE, BJACK$, MAVI, DARIUS "DEEZLE" HARRISON,

      From "NY Drill," to Melodic Rap and R&B, I have hands-on experience recording, mixing, and mastering music for various artists.

       

      As a Brooklyn native, I've witnessed and worked with many young artists who are changing and evolving Hip-Hop. I have an innate ability to elevate the audio quality of any music I work on.

       

      Some of the artists I've worked with have gone on to achieve streaming success (1m+), grow a dedicated fanbase, receive praise from music industry executives, and experience local support through blogs, publications, radio stations, etc.

       

      As both an audio engineer and artist, I'm able to use my musical knowledge to adapt quickly to newer styles/trends while innovating to keep the music sounding new, fresh, and dynamic.

        Meet The Team!

        Martin "Dom" Forrero

        Before launching Mansion, Martin developed his foundation across New York’s independent circuit and traditional studio environments. In his early 20s, he moved between recording sessions while contributing to the city’s underground scene.

         

        “I was DJing warehouse parties in Bushwick and Williamsburg, running live sound for experimental shows, and helping build out DIY events for artists like RATKING, Perrion, and Deli Girls,” he says. “At the same time, I was working in traditional studios. That contrast showed me what I was missing.”

         

        That perspective sharpened through work in major studio environments, where he trained under industry engineers and producers including Jerry Wonda (Wyclef Jean, Whitney Houston, Shakira), head engineer Serge Tsai (Kanye West, Justin Bieber), and platinum engineer Devonne Knights (Brandy, French Montana, Jay Critch). These rooms demanded precision, speed, and consistency.

         

        “Coming up in those spaces, the expectation was clear. You either delivered at a high level, or you didn’t last. That urgency stayed with me.”

        The foundation of Mansion Studios was shaped after the rise of Brooklyn drill, including Martin’s work with the late Pop Smoke. Sessions moved quickly, expectations were high, and the margin for error was minimal.

         

        “You either met the artist’s energy immediately and kept up, or you lost them,” recollects Martin. “There was always someone ready to take your spot.”

         

        After years of operating at that pace, Martin shifted toward building a scalable system. Training engineers became just as important as running sessions, with an emphasis on adaptability, consistency, and maintaining standards under pressure.

         

        That approach defines Mansion Studios today.

         

        Martin also serves as the lead engineer for SoundCloud’s live performance series The Booth, recording and mixing sessions for artists including Chance the Rapper, R2R Moe, and Lola Brooke.

        The series has received industry recognition, including a Webby Award nomination. Live recording reinforces the same principles that define Mansion Studios. Speed and the ability to capture a performance in real time.
